This is the palest white wool possible

but note that it is in thick microns

Here you have a blend of approximately 29 microns to 41 microns wool thickness

So this is coarse wool

And the problem with coarser wools is that the thicker the wool

the more easily it yellows

And by yellow, we mean, of course, ecru with a soft buttery yellow hue.

This isn't truly yellow, but in the industry we call it yellow wool.

You can do a lot with this.

In the presentation at MAD in Brussels, there was a gigantic pullover in this area

so a quasi-felting achieved through a process of hot air and very high air pressure
