15% PA legerement elastique

a fantasy style thread based upon the original yarn structure

replicated of an 14th century Japanese medeival silk kimono

this special kimono silk was mostly used for

obtaining strange woven structures and colors

it gives an other world look and feeling in a waven structure

and that is what makes kimonos of that period so bizare and extreeem special

they play mainly wiht structure

made in ways were time did NOT count to make a nice special item

so the technology behind to make a lot of those very old yarns is mostly

fascinating stunning and mostly unbelefebale in complexaty

they were not afraid to make on yarn with more then one person to obtain THAT wunderful result

the original aynr was of course NOT made with PA for that special elastic effect

they did a strange way of spinning we an reproduce but makes it

almost impossible to handle the trhread on undustrial machines

it becomes to wild and to uncontrolling

so we needed to find adaptation to give the same effect by a modern usable twist
