kibishi silk is the outer layer of certain silk types that is used ot produce again an other type of silk yarn

this has a more dryer effect in your silk

the outer layers of th esilk cocoon are not so smooth

as the inner layers or meters

the silk has a less smoother aspect in touch

but is it still silk and stil MARVELOUS

the difference between "normal" outerlayer recuperation

is that mostly the lesser types of silk gives more bourette like silk

so realy lesser types of silk

while when they look for the Kaboshi, they wil only use higher grades of silk

and will automaticly end up with a more refined product in the end

for weaving

this combo of wool is special for the late 19th century

were there was a lot of import in Japan of european wool

they started a complete new trend in Fuji Kimonos

were the black biased stripes gives a stunnign effect in the end result

it is a suttle twill effect wiht a lot of visual shine when you move

knits perfect

colors perfect

and swells a bit after washing

so you get a ncier bigger filling then original is for that 1000meter per 100 grams

knitted in a shetland lace sjall it is stunnign effect
