4ply iberico d'aragon wool

100% 20micron pure fine iberico d'aragon wool spun in a 4ply yarn

iberico d argaon sheep are mostly used for the meat production

and are less know for the wool but but it is still a very nice special wool

this wool is less yellow then most spanish portugese breeds of sheep

and has even a special greyish undertone in the wool coloring

the real reason this wool is less know in the rest of the EU is because

this type of wool has almost no krimp in it so if you spin it

you get a thread with much less wool-elasticety as normal wool types

but hat is not a real negative efffect it gives an other feeling in your finished textiles

this is a test spin we did for a "local brand" in spain whom wants to market it

as special wool form that region

they finaly changed into an other type of wool

so here are the left overs of that test

it is EXTREMLY GOOD PRICED

cones of 500grams 1250 meter

so on a 4,00mm you have a XL pullover

the fotos you see from the knitted version

is 3 threads knitted together for me to go a bit faster in result

i was lazy that day....
