cottonised wants to say that the fibers are THAT beaten that you get extremely fine fibers

so fine as cotton the disadvantage is that it is 3 extra steps in your linen production

and quite an expensive production method

but you get a 100% pure linen that feels as soft as a cotton

it is half bleached before the cotonisation process

this bleaching is done on an ecofrienldy way

as you know we all of us need to strive towards zero waste management

towards less and less chemicals

and if we use chemicals to try to neutralise them on the end of the process

so we have ZERO contaminants left in our waste water

this is for a lot of textile sin EUROPE possible

but it costs more

this is outside europe NEVER DONE they do whatever they want...
